You can create a healthy challenge with your mind. One way to do so is by thinking that you're stepping into an ice-cold shower. This can get the immediate attention of your immune system, so it steps up to meet any perceived threat. This is how to do it:
Everyday before your shower, close your eyes and imagine for a moment that the water is ice-cold.
Pay attention to your body and see if you notice an increased liveliness inside.
Next, take a shower at your normal temperature.
It's amazing, but just thinking about a challenge can strengthen your immunity!
